About Dr. Hamm
Richard and Anita Hamm are originally from Northwest Florida and have been serving the Lord in ministry for over thirty-six years. Presently, they serve as senior pastor of Lakeview Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Anita serves in the music and worship ministry of the Church and also accompanies and assists Richard in missions travel. Previously, they pastored churches in Florida, Tennessee, and Arkansas.
Dr. Hamm has been extensively involved in missions work since 1986 and has traveled in over eighty countries of the world. He presently serves as an adjunct professor with Asia Pacific Theological Seminary, Cape Theological Seminary, Caribbean School of Theology and Global University School of Theology. He also serves as a faculty member with the North Carolina District School of Ministry. Additionally, he has preached crusades and conferences in multiple nations around the globe. The Hamm’s have three grown children (two sons and a daughter), and six grandchildren.
Richard L. Hamm Ministries began in 2005 by Dr. Richard L. and Anita Hamm. Dr. Hamm has been traveling extensively doing missions ministry since 1986. Because of his travel in over 80 countries, he saw the tremendous need to train pastors worldwide. His involvement with Global University School of Theology, international seminaries, overseas Bible Colleges, and conversation with key missionary education leaders has encouraged Dr. Hamm to make himself available for international teaching and preaching.
Dr. Hamm holds several undergraduate and graduate degrees. He earned his Doctor of Ministry from Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) in Charlotte, North Carolina. RTS is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada and by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Dr. Hamm's dissertation deals with leadership development, effective facilitation and establishing church-based study centers to train pastors and equip the laity for the ministry. Dr. Hamm also has a Th.D. Dr. Hamm serves on the vision communication board of Global University and on the board of directors for the Iran Bible College.
Dr. Hamm has 36+ years of pastoral experience. In conjunction with his busy teaching schedule, he continues to serve as senior pastor of Lakeview Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he has served since 1994. Lakeview Church is an important part of the ministry. Lakeview's prayers, financial support and participation, is a vital part of the ministry.
